I understand plus size dark skin women still being uncomfortable, openly expressing alliance with the fat positivity or body positivity movement. Being fat, dark skin and woman is still highly stigmatized. Add LGBT to that and it makes it even more tough.
The lack of representation or the lack of humanization for us, makes a lot of us feel like we’re not suppose to be shown. Like we’re bad and need to hide and not be proud of anything. Fat dark skin women are the butt of every joke and not everyone comes to our rescue when we’re the subject of humiliation.
