if you think it’s wrong (“fetishizing”) for people to say they’re attracted to nonbinary people because “not all nonbinary people look the same, you can’t tell that they’re nonbinary” then it stands to reason that
- you think it’s okay for people to say they’re attracted to women because you think all women DO look the same and you can instantly tell when someone is a woman
- you think it’s okay for people to say they’re attracted to men because you think all men DO look the same and you can instantly tell when someone is a man
which are both inherently transphobic assumptions.
