asexuals and aros are ostracized, misrepresented, invalidated, traumatized, shamed, misunderstood, and more because of their orientation. acting like this goes away when the person is heterosexual/romantic just makes the problem worse. and if we’re really about to play oppression olympics, we should take into consideration the fact that anyone who is white, cis, cis-passing, or male is less marginalized than everyone else in the LGBTQIA+ community, so that’s really not a valid reason to gatekeep this community. long story short, this blog is hetero-ace/aro friendly and you ABSOLUTELY belong in my community. 🙂
