for some reason this anime looks like exactly what i want to watch today thank you

i’m watching it on crunchyroll and it’s so cute and wholesome, it’s just completely soothing. very slow paced and relaxing. nothing especially happens, there isn’t what you’d call a plot, it’s just this kind of deadpan weirdness interspersed with ordinary moments in the life of a teenage witch in a scenic farming town in the japanese countryside. also her cousin is the chillest boy character in the history of anime. he’s not even ‘cool’ or laconic, he’s just naturally calm with no hint of macho bullshit. when she compliments his cooking and says he’d make a good girl, he immediately responds “all the boys would be so into me” without batting an eye. you get the impression there’s nothing on earth that would upset him.

if you ever feel like your mood would be improved by, say, watching a small child following a cat around the neighborhood for fifteen minutes, this is the show for you. 😀

This sounds 100% exactly the kind of show I’d love.

My favourite films/shows always just have an ambling sort of storyline, with no real climax and now real purpose other than following a character. (think alice in wonderland while she’s in wonderland… there’s really no point/crucial moment/motivation, she just kind of is wandering around discovering things, and experiencing stuff) And rural settings are always my fave, and witches!!! are always my fave!!!

I need this in my life.
