- his favourite movie as a kid was mulan because “becoming” a boy and going off to war was his dream as a young roman
- he chose the name octavian based off augustus bc, hey, that guy wasn’t the epitome of hypermasc buff roman soldier yet still was great (as in power and notability, not like a good person) so he could be too
- his shitty fashion sense is based off clothes that hide his shape and his lack of knowledge about how to dress himself because he was never taught how
- he’s more competitive towards cis men because he feels the need to prove himself better so people respect him
- in fact that’s where some, if not a lot, of his drive and need for power came from, the desire to prove himself worthy
- he has spent a considerable amount of time in prayer to bacchus for help and guidance
- he’s 110% jealous of jason because he’s everything octavian wishes he was
- more muscular, masculine, respected, he didn’t need to continuously prove himself the way octavian did
