Trans boys don’t have to be soft.

Trans boys can be dirty, not shower for weeks because of mental illness or disability, they can have ten cavities and live in a completely filthy room they meant to clean last year – they’re still good, still trying, still deserve to be thought of positively and not ignored.

Trans boys can be rough and tumble, they can love sports and get down and dirty, they can get angry and fight people, they can yell and scream or even just push their friends around playfully – they’re not “just conforming to gender roles.”

Trans boys can love sex, have multiple partners, be kinky – it’s not dirty or wrong.

Cis people (mostly on this website) constantly call trans boys “soft babies” and whatever and it’s infantalization, it’s fetishization, it’s disgusting. The only reason you see us like that is because you still view us as female, and it’s fucked up. Let us be human and be however we want.
